Quoting from "The royal Society for the prevention of accidents" document on the issue of mobile phones and road safety:
Drivers who use a mobile phone while driving, whether hand-held or hands-free:
■ are much less aware of what’s happening on the road around them
■ fail to see road signs
■ fail to maintain proper lane position and steady speed
■ are more likely to ‘tailgate’ the vehicle in front
■ react more slowly and take longer to brake
■ are more likely to enter unsafe gaps in traffic
■ feel more stressed and frustrated.
Research indicates that they are also four times more likely to crash, injuring or killing themselves and/or other people.
Using a hands-free phone while driving does not significantly reduce the risks because the problems are caused mainly by the mental distraction and divided attention of taking part in a phone conversation at the same time as driving.

A lovely blog indeed !
I got your blog through Khadija.
You seem familiar. Are you an ex blogger ???
Welcome to my blog! No, I've never in my life done any thing on the internet apart from sending emails and visiting google a thousand times a day! As mentioned in my first blog, it’s my first web publishing experience, I am literally learning as I’m going along!
Trabilsia, Sorry I forget to tell you; thank you for your kind compliment :).
you are doing a good job Beacon, of course here in the UK we have all of that but in Libya your campaign would be great. Good luck brother.
Cute you should make bumper stickers then people can drive up real close to read them :) good work if only more would listen. My husband was nearly killed by a man who dropped his phone. A good start but more work will always need to be done.
Youn are a fast learner Masha- Allah ,and I wish you all the best.
